The fourth chapter was quite dark where demons and the curse concept get into light. The fifth chapter brings players to the edge of the sear where Princess Peach gets into lots of adventurous stuff. After all, the later chapter contains an interesting and captivating plot which causes an adrenaline rush in the game. The ending of the game left enough satisfaction among the players.

The highlight of this game is the plot and the invading characters. The fights, the plot environment, and the background music during the action sequences are some of the finest things in this game. The dark plots such as Demons and the Curse were well placed in the comical genre.
The classic game has been perfectly revived decently, and the graphics look amazing. Paper-based Gameplay technology is one of the appreciable elements of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Whenever Mario travels or moves inside the game in the paper-based mode, the transformation brings an endearing feeling.
The visually impelling part was whenever Mario traversed from one aesthetic to another. This was one of the best parts of the game.

The game being a remake lacks some new elements that can excite the players. However, the game sticks to its original plot line where it fails to exhibit new attributes. The dialogues could have a slow pace where most readers feel the game is lagging. The frame rate problem was encountered when there were severe actions and multiple characters in the frame.
